The new joint evaluation process emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach from the earliest stages of diagnosis and treatment to avoid limitations inherent in single-department assessments. Each complex case will undergo joint review by experts from oncology, surgery, radiology, and critical care medicine to ensure the scientific rigor and completeness of the treatment plan.

Key process optimization areas include: standardizing case data collection and sharing mechanisms, establishing rapid consultation channels, developing multidisciplinary treatment pathway templates, and enhancing postoperative follow-up and efficacy evaluation systems.

Through this upgraded model, we aim to deliver clear, prudent, and continuous clinical assessments for every pet facing complex diseases—ensuring each treatment decision is grounded in thorough evaluation and multidisciplinary consensus.

Huachen Veterinary Referral Center's ICU has completed a full equipment upgrade, introducing next-generation life support systems and multi-parameter monitoring devices to significantly enhance critical case treatment capabilities and monitoring precision.

The new device suite includes core life-support equipment such as high-precision ventilators, continuous blood pressure monitoring systems, blood gas analyzers, and infusion pump arrays, enabling comprehensive, real-time monitoring and intervention for critically ill pets.

This upgrade enhances the ICU's capacity to treat critical cases, significantly improving monitoring precision and response speed. It provides more reliable technical support for postoperative recovery, poison treatment, and multi-organ support scenarios.

Huachen Animal Medical Referral Center introduces HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology, offering a non-invasive and precise new option for pet tumor treatment. This technology uses focused ultrasound to generate heat that precisely ablates tumor tissue while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

HIFU technology is suitable for treating various solid tumors, including liver cancer, kidney cancer, and soft tissue sarcomas. Compared to traditional surgery, it offers advantages such as minimal invasiveness, faster recovery, and the ability to be repeated, making it particularly ideal for elderly pets or those at high surgical risk.

The center has assembled a specialized HIFU treatment team comprising ultrasound imaging physicians, oncologists, and anesthesiologists to ensure every procedure is completed under strict quality control.
